Richard Hartley, composer the Rocky Horror Picture Show and George Romero, director Night of the Living Dead team up for Diamond Dead.

January 25 2004--Producer Andrew Gaty has secured horror filmmaker legend George A. Romero (Night of the Living Dead), and music legend Richard Hartley (The Rocky Horror Picture Show) to collaborate on a new rock/horror/comedy movie Diamond Dead, conceived by Brian Cooper.
Their website, www.DiamondDead.com is giving fans of Romero and Hartley unprecedented access to inside information about the process of getting the movie made; from the script, casting, financing, essentially in all production steps until it is released in theaters.
Viewers of the site will be able to interact directly with Romero, Hartley, Gaty and Cameron Multimedia, developers of the website.
The model is clearly working. Traffic overwhelmed the servers with over 3,200,000 hits in the first few weeks. This attracted the interest of TeamXBox (an online Xbox resource, second only to Microsoft) who have signed on to spearhead the same open-source approach with the development of the Diamond Dead video game on teamxbox.com.
